Eligibility & Limitations
The VF Foundation will consider relevant applications submitted by organizations that are based in or operating from the communities where VF Corporation and our family of brands are located.
Qualifying organizations must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Tax Code. The VF Foundation cannot provide grants to individuals.
A majority of grants are one year in duration, but the Foundation is willing to consider multi-year commitments up to three years for Education and Workforce Development.
Areas of Interest
The VF Foundation supports organizations working in the following areas:
- Conservation
- Stewardship / Sustainability
- Education
- Workforce Development / Evolution of the Trades
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity at the organizational and community level
Grant Timelines
The VF Foundation makes decisions on grant requests twice a year according to the following schedule:

Funding Made By | May 31 | November 30 |
Cycle 2 2019 decisions and funding will occur at the end of November due to the VF office move to Denver.
